Summary: nextid() missing in db_odbc.inc

Initial Comment:
Hello,

I use PHPShop which uses PHPLIB and the nextid() 
database function. But that function is not present in the 
db_odbc.inc. And therefore there lacks a bit of functionality. 

I've seen the problem is noticed before, but I haven't found a 
solution. Is there one (besides writing it myself 
:)?
