First release of phpLabware

PhpLabware is a relational database management system with features not unlike those found in commercial applications as Filemaker and Access. However, phpLabware is completely web-based. Databases can be defined inside a webbrowser, and their functionality can be extended using plugins written in php. PhpLabware uses adodb as the database interface and has been tested with Postgresql and MySQL as SQL engine. Since phpLabware was developed for life science research laboratories, the distribution includes modules dealing with pdf reprints (using info from the Pubmed database), pdb structure files, antibodies, and protocols.
