Version 0.83 is primarily a bug fix release with a couple of added minor features.
- Converted deprecated HTTP_SERVER_VARS to _SERVER
- Fixed emailcodesigning error in openssl_functions.php
- Fixed failure to create httpasswd file in secure.sh
- Fixed false positives when detecting if requested email certificate already exists
- Added support for 4 character TLD in email address
- Added support for short term certificates (1,3,6 months)
Version 0.82 has been release. The demo site has been restored.
This may be the final release of PHPki for an indefinite time. Due to a new job and personal commitments, the author will be unavailable for support.
The demo site is not working again. This is probably due to Sourceforge housekeeping, sigh... Will try to get it working again soon.
Demo site performance is very poor when there are a lot of certificates in the database. Not sure why, but I suspect it's a Sourceforge problem or limitation. Today I removed most of the certificates in the demo database. If you've tried to use the demo recently and left frustrated, please try again. If you continue to have trouble with the demo, drop me an e-mail.
After a very long wait, I finally found time to release an update to PHPki. Version 0.70 addresses a number of issues and request in the Bugs and Features forums. This BETA version has not been thoroughly tested. Test carefully before deploying or upgrading. Please submit bug reports to the Sourceforge project page.
The first ALPHA release of PHPki is out! Read the release notes to find out more about this application.
The initial release of this project is coming soon. I hope to have a tarball ready by March 31, 2003.
Stay Tuned!
