I downloaded PHPix-2.0.2.tar.gz from sourceforge.net, the config.inc file that came in the tarball does not have $desc_base defined. What should I set it to? same as $pix_base? Hi, This is most certainly due to the fact that there is are 2 phpix=20 projects at sourceforge. The original phpix, which is now at version 2.0.2, and the phpix2 project (the one with __desc files) which is at version=20= 2.0.1 Something must be done to clarify this a little bit, don't you think ? Yes, I think so. Perhaps what's needed is to rename the package again, to something without PHPix in the name. Incidentally, I'm just putting the finishing touches on a completely new HTML photo album package. I wrote as a Makefile and two awk scripts. I'll let this list know about it when I've put the finishing touches on it, it may be possible to borrow some tricks for use in PHPix2. Neale |

Ah, you got Robert Holak's 2.0.2. The PHPix2 you were using before was a forked version from phpix2.sourceforge.net, which I had hacked up a year ago. I wanted to merge it with Robert's but he seemed dead to the world so I started up a phpix2 project. Later on, Robert released a 2.0 version of his original software and then dropped off the globe again.
