Hello, I just installed PHPix and it seems to work great! Only thing I've missed was ability for http image uploads.
Few hours ago I started to code "image uploader for PHPix" and now it seems to work. If you like to grab copy of it, visit http://valokuvat.haisee.com/upload.phps

Neat. Take a look at 1.1.0 (which I'll upload very soon) and see if you can get your uploader to work with it. I've been toying with how to implement such a beast for a while now...

I installed PHPix 2.0pre1 and image uploader works with it also (since there's no major changes in directory structure). I'm trying to improve uploader little bit more. Goal is to make uploader
- Support for multiple uploads at once
- Add simply password protection
- Use phpix's config.inc to solve album path
- Improve album managment (create, modify, delete)
- Support album__desc.txt files in album managment
- Use same stylesheet with phpix
Currently uploading multiple jpeg's at once and password protection works, but rest of list are under construction.

That sounds awesome. Where can I look at it? This is the kind of thing that should go into the main distribution.

Hi all. I'm excited about the upload ability. Is this going to be written into phpix2?
I think we have to be carefull that we're all working on the same project and not moving phpix into tons of different directions. From what I read on another post there should be a phpix2 on sourceforge. Hopefully we can all migrate over to that project.

1.1.0 is actually the same thing as 2.0, I just bumped the version number to coincide with the name I was choosing for SourceForge (I figured I'd do the same sort of thing the fvwm folks did when they took over for Rob Nation). Sorry for the confusion :-)
