#269 How to create duplicate subnets

How can I create duplicate subnets? I have several different remote sites which are using the same range for multicast. e.g. 224.10.10.0/24. The subnet is contained locally at layer 2 and does not traverse our campus area networks or our VPLS. Consequently, I would need to add 224.10.10.0/24 several times for several different locations. Is this possible?

Hi, you can do the following:

• create seprate sections with setting "Require unique subnets" to off under Administration;
• create separate VRFs for each multicast range
• set "strict mode" to off for specific section
