#215 PowerDNS and Reverse Zone

Good Morning,

just trying to get the latest phpipam version working with our PowerDNS setup. Unfortunately we still have an issue with PTR records. If i add an A record in phpipam it will be inserted properly into the database. If i create a PTR record for any reason it will also be inserted into the database table which holds all the forward mappings (please see screenshots).

Any hints are appreciated.

In the meantime i've learned that the database table is the same for A and PTR records but phpipam is inserting both records with domain_id of the forward zone.
