Support PostgreSQL as optional database backend.
Growing numbers of customers are fleeing (too strong?) the MySQL database in light of the management by Oracle. MariaDB fills this gap for some people, but porting to a more "grown-up" database should be at least a consideration?

Sorry - this was created by me. Forgot to log in.
I'll second this, but I can't help but say its not a priority. Should Oracle decide to do something foolish with MySQL, MariaDB is already there to handle the fallout, and they're making huge improvements to things along the way. PostgreSQL is a great database though, and only good come could come from abstracting the data model to the point that it becomes pluggable (and easy to support even more database systems in the future).
I would like to see PostgreSQL support as well.
