Hi

Updated to latest phpipam from the homepage.. Got issues with overlapping subnets still.

I got the network 192.168.49.0/24 which I create several /28 & /29 networks from and move into a specific customer MAP. The original network 192.168.49.0/24 resides in another map.

Both maps are still in the same "section" (tree wise).

The moment I move the smaller nested subnets away into another map, I can re-create the same IP subnet again.

Do the nested subnets always have to stay under the "mother" subnet?

Section view is like this

Customers

Customers 1 > 192.168.49.0/28
Customers 2 > 192.168.49.64/28

Internal network

192.168.0.0/16

192.168.49.0/24

Have I misunderstood the strict mode and how to use it?

Thanks!

Hi, nested subnets must stay under mother subnet, if you move them they are treated as separate subnet.

If strict mode for section is set to yes than they shouldn't be able to move as you would get overlapping, you can move to some folder though.

    I have a similar problem.

The overlaps function only works when the subnet of registration is made with the "master subnet = root subnet." If you choose another option subnet master the system accepts normally even though the registered subnet.

    This is normal?

Should be fixed in 1.2 , reopen if it is still present
