To upgrade from 4.1 to 4.2 you can run the following steps.

Upgrade 4.1 to 4.2
1. Paste in the file into the MySQL command line or some other MySQL admin
tool
2. Download the latest 4.2 source code from http://www.phpip.net/download 
3. Extract the source code into the correct directory
4. Edit the database connect file with the correct username, passwd, and
database name (includes/database.php)

Please let me know if you run into any issues, the following
phpip_upgrade_version.sql will be included in the official 4.3 release.
