Hmm...thanks for pointing that out. It turns out that VBulletin was set to display only posts from the last day. So, I suppose that if you didn't get around to it until the next day, the post would have been in the don't display part. I changed the settings on all the forums. I hope that fixes it. VBulletin has all this powerful but hard to use (IMHO) stuff with unfriendly administration tools where you have to click too much to do anything. For example, as far as I can tell, I can't just see the default settings on all the forums on a single page. Ugh.
