I agree that it's meaningless there.  If I remember correctly, it wasn't 
immediately obvious how to exclude it, so I left it for someone else to 
figure out.  My goal was to put the framework in there and allow someone 
more intimate with the code to smooth out the rough edges.

It might make sense to get rid of the single selector altogether and 
replace it with the multi-select.  And then add a javascript button to 
toggle on all the calendars.
