I realize that the web site was hacked (for those who didn't realize this, see <http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?thread_id=3D6124833= &forum_id=3D12293>) & that Chad has had little free time to inspect it for security holes. However, I have just received my fourth inquiry about if this project was still alive & asking what was up with the web page. I can only assume this is because I donated a few bucks to the project back in Feb. (A plug for the cause: <http://arc.nucapt.northwestern.edu/F/OSS>). What can we do to help get at least a minimal web site back up? A static page with screenshots & relevant links to the sourceforge project page would suffice. Heck, even a basic text message saying the page was hacked & directing people to the project page would be better than the page that is currently up. While I certainly don't mind forwarding my now-standard reply to people, I am more than willing to create a quick and dirty web page if no one else can do it. --Rick |
