Oh yeah, it's great!  So much better!  Here, let me get the times... 
these are with my own calendars, not the standard ones, though I could 
send those if you'd like.

Before caching:
Week: 16.933 (0.924)
Month: 18.695 (0.715)
Year: 17.466 (0.572)

After caching:
Week: 0.887 (0.636)
Month: 1.198 (0.965)
Year: 0.751 (0.534)
