Themes are easy as pie, I have some code directly from phpBB that in 2 lines
of code does themes.  If you plan on supporting them, do it from the start
however, cuz later on you'll have to do a lot of rewriting.

2nd, what exactly do you want sessions to provide for you?  To store the
processed calendar code?

3rd... Do you have AIM or IRC?
