Overlapping events really break the weekly view. I've created a very 
messy test file and put it on my .Mac account to see how Apple handles 
it. It looks like if there are more than 3 overlapping events at one 
particular time, it just presents a solid color box with all the events 
that happen in that block, not worrying about graphically representing 
the accurate start and finish times of each event separately. Day view 
handles that.

I think that's a pretty good solution (which is why the .Mac team must 
have done it) and we should think about implementing a similar idea.
