#125 Force Application to run ounce on login
I work at a school and every so often I need to have
staff members or certin groups staff members fill out
surveys or vote on somthing (often they never do
however (Darn voilitile human memory)). I think a
great way to handle this is to force them to complete
a survey or poll BEFORE they can do anything
else..... Also many of my staff NEVER check there e-
mail ( They think it will bite them or somthing)
Do you folks think that forcing an app to run always
(in the case of e-mail) or once (in the case of a
required survey or poll) based on User and group
setting could be somthing that could be added to the
API?
(on ramification of this is that apps while being
forced to run could not have the PHPGW toolbars
visable, and there would need to be some method of
checking for completeness of surveys or polls (or
whatever app), so that if they do not complete the
item it will run again the next time they log in
(hopefully from the state they last left it in).
