I can only second this.
My PGV database consists of 8 Gedcom files for separate family lines, mainly because of size (biggest file has about 15.000 entities) and access control.
The relationships between my children and their grandparents goes through 3 gedcoms, and e.g. the circle diagram only supports 1 level of linking. From your message it seems that relationship charts do not support linking at all.
I've seen several display errors related to linking, especially when I previously used the same ID for different persons in different files (e.g. the Close Relatives banner and various reports would show the wrong linked name, mixing S1:I1 with S2:I1).
I suspect the culprit is shortcomings in the basic entity access functions or that 1) the various specialized functions don't use the basic access functions or 2) they over-optimize access.
I'm not complaining. I've no right to, I've not even reported the bugs I've found (shame on me!)
It would be nice to know, however, which reports are supposed to support a) 2 or b) several levels of linkage.
I've noticed that every new release seems to improve on the issues I've described above.
I'm also very happy with the activity level of the PGV project, and grateful to the developers for all the hours they put into PGV.
Sincerely, Hans Henrik Eriksen
