i have the following raw gedcom source data... i don't know what the _ITALIC and
_PAREN entries are for and phpGedView v4.1.5rel is reporting them as an error
and to notify the site manager... well, i'm the site manager ;)

i suspect that these may be for display purposes of the source in the records...
_ITALIC Y would seem to indicate to use an italic font... i would also suppose
that _PAREN Y would indicate to place paren's () around the displayed entry...
now, if those parens are also italic or not, i don't know... however, a quick
look in PAF4 and PAF5 at entries with this source does not show this source in
italics or wrapped with parens...
this gedcom was generated from PAF5 (for various reasons) but the PAF database
is normally managed by PAF4... i don't know if this source was originally put
into the database with PAF2, PAF3 or possibly and old DOS version of Brother's
Keeper...
