1. In the file phpgedview/config.php you can find your latest/official
parameters which are used.

2. At your localhost you can try with root as the user and no password
for dbase connection, to find out if that's working.

3. The windows environment is more specific with the authorisations for
users.

4. You can use phpmyadmin as a tool for mysql database administration.
