Well, I know PGV works with php5 as I'm running it.  I guess first thing you need to do is check your paths and 
ensure that when you upgraded the paths your php directory didn't change. After that it really depends on what 
OS your running, whether your using your own server or a host, and so on.... to troubleshoot your problem.
