Sorry I didn't make myself clearer. In Administration the screen says "Your config.php file is still writable. For security, you should set the permissions of this file back to read-only when you have finished configuring your site" I couldn't find a way to make it read-only in my FTP program, widows explorer or front page. So I downloaded it to my computer & changed the properties to read-only then uploaded back to my website. Can you recommend a cheap or free FTP program that will let me change the file permission? I use EFTP & if I am doing this right I keep getting this error: error encountered 500'SITE CHMOD 777 / command not understood error encountered 500'SITE CHMOD 755 / command not understood Thanks Dennis At 05:40 PM 7/22/2006, Shag wrote: >As for your config.php problem.
