MySQL is slightly more secure than index mode because you are not =
reading in so many files.  But the biggest reason to switch to a DB =
backend is for speed and stability.

You can disable the option for visiters to request user accounts in the =
configuration.

I am getting real tired of my plain html webpage & want to go back to
PHPGenView but was wondering if anyone has had anymore hackers? It was =

in early 2006 & I was using an old 3.x version in index mode(?). Will =

MySQL help keep hackers out? I belive I was hacked with SAMARINDAHACK

Also I don't want to have others trying to request a user account, is =

a way to keep the login off the main page?

I really like what people have done with the ver 4.x !!!
