That would be very nice to see. However, this could be a lot of work if 
the Xoops integration is any kind of indicator. I would be happy with 
user integration and have Pgv standalone where you could then just 
change the header to match the header in Joomla
I am willing to help pay for this integration if you can find someone to 
do it. I offered $200 for a proper integration over at joomlancers.com 
but no one has responded.
