Hi Rodney,

The date under the "Welcome to the HALL Family Tree" title is the date
the news item was saved.  PGV automatically creates that first generic
news item when you add a new Gedcom.  As you add more news items the
newer ones are listed on the top and the dates make more sense.

correct date/time shows over the random image.

I have found the 'Welcome....' string on the lang.en.php file but cannot
see
a reference to a date call. Can this be corrected or the date removed
altogether?
