This discussion has come up a few times before and I have put a lot of thought into it. The idea of linking PGV installations has a lot of merit but there are a lot of things that need to be considered before this can be accomplished, such as caching, privacy, and remote authentication. See the following thread from the discussion forums for more information on what will probably come in the future of PGV: http://sourceforge.net/forum/forum.php?thread_id=3D1205879&forum_id=3D185= 166 --John =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D= =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D John Finlay PhpGedView Project Manager http://www.phpgedview.net ya...@us... =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D= =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D -----Original Message----- From: php...@li... Subject: [Phpgedview-talk] Scalability Is there, or have you considered, a mechanism for linking PHPGedView=20 installations when data crosses? I am a fan of distributed processes and it=20 seems like this would be the ultimate project to use it for in terms of scaling.
