Hi Gavin, =20 I have a lot of experience using LDAP to store and authenticate users, = and it would be pretty simple to get PhpGedView to authenticate against = an LDAP server. But the user table is pretty dynamic as users login and = out and change their settings, so I'm not sure that you could get away = from at least some MySQL storage. =20 I have no idea if it would be possible to import the gedcom individuals = into an LDAP directory and then run PGV from the LDAP. The PGV devel = team doesn't really have the time to experiment on this.
