Dear John,

Thanks for your assistance so far, but I'm still stuck.  I created and =
executed the setpermissions.php file you suggested, and got the =
"permissions changed" message back, but when I checked the properties on =
./index/ and config.php, they evidently did not change.  And when I try =
to run the setup on the server, it reports I don't have permission to =
make the required changes.

Now GoDaddy's tech support people are saying I can't change the =
permissions once the files are on their server, and I should change the =
permissions before I upload them.  Do you think that's possible (if I =
don't have php operating on my PC)?  If so, how do I do it?

Is there any way you can send the program out with the permissions set =
correctly?
