Something went wrong with my subscription to the mailing list. I = decided today to look at the archives and I saw that some messages had = been sent recently that I never received. So I have to apologize if I = never received your messages and therefore never responded. =20 Alan, Were you able to get the program installed? =20 --John =20 =20 =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D= =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D John Finlay PhpGedView Project Manager http://www.phpgedview.net <http://www.phpgedview.net/>=20 =20 ya...@us... =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D= =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D =20 I may be putting my foot in it, but I have written three on the message board, (I did get one response). I have had the same error as others when installing the program on "my" server. I only have access to /www on the server space I rent. From there I have /www/www for my normal webpages and /www/family is routed to family.pegles.com which I hope to use for genealogy site. I have made ALL my files 777, and I am having error messages. Is there a way around not having access to root? (/).. This looks like a neat program, I hope that I can get my website functioning one day. Thank you for this great project and your help Alan |
