A number of themes show a flag depicting the nationality of the user, determined in user administration.
Most of the users on my site are English, there are a couple of Italians but there are a growing number of Australians who have to be given the English nationality with the default flag. :-(
It would be great to give them their own flag.

See discussions about this on the 'Translations' forum. Flags are linked to the language files. So to have an Australian flag you need to create (and then maintain) an Australian language file.
If you are still using the US flag as the default flag for the English language (as PGV is set by default), you can at least change that by editing the English language configurations, but each language file can have only one flag.
I did try it myself at one time, creating a New Zealand language file, but decided that keeping it up to date as changes were made to the English language version was too much work just to change a users flag.
So, you are right to call this an RFE, but it would be a pretty major change.
