Hello I like to make a suggestion for the welcome page properties. Can it be made to change the topics by place?
I like to have one particularly in place one, and all new beneath the first.

    I assume you're talking about the News block.

    The News block is working as designed. You're asking for a new feature. In effect, you're asking that the Admin should be able to control the order in which News articles appear instead of the order being determined by the date and time stamp.

    I'm moving this Tracker item to the Feature Request section and changing the title.

    In the meantime, you can achieve what you want by always editing and saving the news item you want at the top. Do this after adding any new items.

    @ kosherjava: Indeed this is what i mean. The possibility to reorder the items.

    One thing I would like to NOT happen in news articles is having their timestamp changed when their content is modified. I have to write them very carefully because if I correct a spelling error later, they get reordered.
