I have 4.0.1 . . . the tab containing the media and notes seem to get missed by most folks. Can you rework the default display to display summary information for each category? Example Facebook . . . you instantly know there are pictures and see a random sampling . . . you see a list of threads . . . you see a list of links . . . you see a list of some related individuals . . . and you are enticed to click on any of those to see more.

Not a bad idea. There is some work being done on the presentaion for ver 4.2 (see also various discussions in the Open Discussion forum here), but in the short term you can set the 'ALL' tab to be the default view under GEDCOM configuration. Not a pretty solution. but might help for now.
I would like to see some additional summary info also. Very often there's a one or two sentence bit that would be useful to attach to a person. "Best known for establishing the such-and-such hospital" or "Died on the Titanic." The facts themselves have an official place in a GEDCOM but displaying all of the notes and details isn't quite what I have in mind.
One possible method is that the first 1 NOTE field in any INDI record displays underneath the existing name/birth/death summary, above the tabs. It could be in a table cell that spanned the columns comprising the summary table within the facts_table, so it doesn't start below the picture and it won't migrate underneath the indi options box.
