#841 Media organised by type with tabs

Prensently when maging media one can allocate a type from the dropdown list which is a good start.

But when a user views the media catalogue everything is jumbled up and the same with the media tab in the person record.

Could this type leabel be etended to create tabs which would contain all media of that particular type in both areas so that all photos for example are shown together without documents or other types of media....same for each type of media classification.

A real bonus would be for the admin to be able to add new types of media classification.

This would make a heavy user, like me, of this excellent flexible media function to make it more user friendly and clearer for a user to see what is available and stimulate them to search their archives to add content as most just think of family photos rather than wills etc....Wills is a "missing" category as i have dozens of them the oldest being 16thC ones.

Have you looked at the new "Album" module? It doesn't yet answer all your request - but it does go a long way towards it.
