iCal support for the Anniversary Calendar would be incredibly useful to me. I see two uses for this feature.
The first would be allowing a user to subscribe to an iCal data set from a phpGedView installation. I could for example point my Google Calendar or my Mac OS X iCal application at my phpGedView installation so that it always has the latest birthday information in my personal calendar. Using a session ID that did not expire in the the iCal URI I could access information in phpGedView that requires a log in. The iCal URI for the feed could be copied from the Anniversary Calendar page so that the URI could be customized based on the user's access level and the options they chose in the Anniversary Calendar interface.
The second use is an extension of the first. With all of this great information in phpGedView I wish I could use the Mac OS X iPhoto, or Windows equivalent, to create a custom printed 12 month calendars as gifts for family members. Using the same iCal URI I could easily import dates from my phpGedView installation into the calendar I am creating.

Thanks for considering my request.

FYI,
I started some work on this about a half a year ago, so some of the building blocks for this are in place. Have a look at:
http://svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/phpgedview/trunk/phpGedView/ical.php?view=markup&sortby=date
Since a lot of the work is done, if anyone is interested in having a look at the code, and actually fleshing out the implementation they would not be starting from scratch.

Thanks for the reply kosherjava. I'm a user not a coder, so, I hope someone continues your effort.
