Christophe - that looks really good. It will fit well with the discussions happening on the UI as well.

One question though, not sure if this has anything to do with this change - on a number of the themes my coy of 4.2 has all the drop-down menus permanently down.

Could this be something related here, or some other change?

The menus are my work, and being down is because I haven't applied all of the CSS changes to the other themes yet.
