Media Manager is making great strides in usability,
but there are still a couple of things I'd liket to
see:
1. Persistent Media ID: I have instances in which the
same media item is used in more than one gedcom (group
photos, mostly, and some documents). It would be nice
if once assigned an ID (eg, "M14") a media item would
be known by that same ID in all gedcoms. (I think I
understand why this is not the case, but I don't like
it.)
2. Navigation: I don't see any means of moving back
up a media directory tree - and I need one.
3. Media sub-folder name: Need a pull-down of existing
media sub-dirs so won't have to re-do on every item
download.
