#613 4.1 - Mass update also on Families

The Search and replace is a nice new addition.

It should also work at least on Families, not only on
Individuals.

The Search and replace does not work on a search result
of one only record. We see this one record instead in
detail.

wow! how about that... i recently, in the last few weeks of this posting, reported this very thing with PGV 4.1.5rel ;)

i got a comment from "fisharebetter", IIRC, that the S&R had been completely rewritten for 4.1.6+ and just needed a lot of testing... i sure hope that it is better than the currently existing one... myself? i resorted to using an old DOS box and a TP6 (Turbo Pascal 6) tool that i wrote to fix some 2300+ or so PLAC records before importation... still, i've got a lot of work but with a 10+ year old GEDCOM built from several hundred "outside" GEDCOMs plus our own internal data and research, it is a huge amount of work to bring it all into "basic" compliance (ie: 11000+ replacements, 9800+ PLAC fields based on 2200+ matching incorrect and update strings) :? :(
