Setting "Child" to "Show only to authenticated users"
is not working.
It is still possible as not authenticated user to view
several charts, such as the "Ancestry Chart", showing
the family tree.
Limiting access to the "Child" fact must prohibit all
charts with parent-child relations from showing to
unauthorized people.
Relevant also for "Wife" and "Husband", since these
relations also show up in charts against privacy settings.

It has never been anticipated that anyone would ever want to
mark CHIL/HUSB/WIFE as private.
Perhaps if you let us know why you are attempting to do this
we can either point you in a better direction or decide
whether or not we want to implement this. Doing this has a
lot of implications where most charts would be completely
useless as you will be completely breaking the
lineage-linking of your data. For example, what use is a
pedigree chart if you can't see the pedigree? So to
properly implement this we would have to drop any charts
from appearing if they are not available. This would
require extensive and invasive coding.
Eventually this will improve as the code is transitioned
into an OO architecture, but that will likely be in process
for at least a year.

John, sorry for the late reply.
The reason why I want to do this is that I want only
registrered users to see relations between individuals, but
I still want everyone to see the NAMES and PLACES of the
individuals.
In other words, I want people to find what is in my database
(thru search engines like Google), but I want them to
register before they can copy and make any use of the
information.
