The ability to view who is logged into the site on the
Welcome and Portal pages is great, thanks!
But to know if someone has joined the fracas, you have
to return to one of those two pages. While using the
site, the average user in looking at INDI pages, not
the welcome or portal page.
We think it would be cool to know if/when another/other
users are online. Either a notification icon or number,
next to the user's own LOGGED in status report -
currently displayed in the header as:
"Logged in as (Stephen)" [although we're not sure why
the parens]
Maybe this could be: "Stephen, you are LOGGED IN. There
are X numbers of other users online." or something
like that. JOHO

Thought I might bump this FR up a bit. I use XENEA most of the time, so my comment is biased to that display, but I'm confident that other themes have similar "white space" available for showing this information. In the top header on Xenea, there is an almost white line running horizontally across the page. Within the display area, aligned left, is the "Logged in as (USER NAME)" and on the right margin aligned: "Favorites".
Immediately following the "Logged in as XYZ" (not sure why it is in parentheses), I'd like to see other online users displayed. Something like
You are logged in as STEPHEN. Other online users include: JAMES, SLOWPOKE, DEIDRA, SONNY.
Anyone else interested in knowing when other users are online at the same time without visiting one of the two pages where the blocks display? Tnx, Stephen
