The main focus of PGV is of course the presentation of
families with their relatives as an Ahnentafel and so on.

But not only descendants and forefathers are important,
there are lots of necessities to link a 'non'-family person:
godfather, priest and so on.

In the current version of PGV you have to add the
unlinked person from within the administrators menu,
then you have to go to the person-event to connect this
unlinked person to, e.g. a wedding-day or so.

1st - this is a very pedantically way,
2nd - this way is available only to administrators.

One of the main advantages of PGV is the residence as
an open database in the internet. So there are several
people working at the same pool of data and one or two
are the supervisors with the right to permit the changes -
- or not.
From this point of view it seems clear to me, that you
have to link a person to the database in a context,
where they show the relationship to the event or person,
and not in an administration context.
As a result, of course, it would be a smoother process
to fill and update the database.
