#296 General Issues with Charts/Pages/Printing
A number of issues that relate to different PGV charts
and other pages.
Will supply page samples upon request.

1. The printed charts use mostly big fonts not
all the individual data shown on the web page is printed
Ocean is OK
2. Individual data is not shown in boxes, the
printed charts are not clear Ocean is OK
3. Lines pass through the Ocean boxes.
4. The gender is not shown to the users, when
the printer is not a color one. I would include gender
icons, in addition to the colors, at least on the indi
details page header and in the name-boxes.
5. I do only manage to print the leftmost LtR
page part. Could Postscript solve this problem? Should
explain the printing procedure both in the Help, FAQ and
Readme.For instance: to use paper in Landcapehow to
remove the header and trailer text and the marginshow
to print a second, etc. column of data (create PDF or
use Snagit or
??)
6. PGV would be more user-friendly with a small
margin on both sides of the page and if the data would
not start on the border.
7. The printer-friendly charts have individual links
and are clickable for zoom in/out. In some cases even
the icons and their alts are shown (for example on the
Family View page and the Relationship chart).
8. The Gedcom Title and special selection values
should be added to the Printer-Friendly Pages and to the
Printed Reports
9. Only the top part of media is shown in the
printable version of the reports in Themes, except in the
Ocean Theme. Shown correctly in the Printer-friendly
version.
10. The sosabook.php seems like a great new
report, after it will be bug-free. Should be included in
PGP.

The printing of the charts is not yet OK.
Some of the above points are now OK, some others are now OK
in one or more themes and some new points.
1. The printed charts - not all the individual data shown
OK in ocean and xenea, although I would try to print Hebrew
names using a smaller font.
2. My printer is a black and white one. The boxes are not at
all clear.
3. Seems OK.
4. OK.
5. The Help for Printing/Printer Friendly Version does not
yet give hints how to ensure that the report is printed fully.
6. Seems OK.
7. The Family View page and the Relationship chart look OK.
I see still icons at least in the Hourglass chart and the
Family Book.
8. I do not see on the printed report the Gedcom Title.
9. OK
10. OK
11. I see the Print and Back to normal texts on some printed
pages.
Samples are at least Pedigree chart (printed in the middle
of the page), Relationship chart, Compact chart, Circle
Diagram, Family Book.
12. I do not see the top data of the Pedigree chart.
13. For the Ancestry Booklet I see only the root person data
in the printed report.
14. For the Descendancy Booklet I see no data in the printed
report.
13. I do not see the vertical lines of the Hourglass chart.

any update on this inn the last year? Some of the items that you list seem to be bugs and not RFE items, and those should probably be filed as individual bugs.
