#1175 A alternative for the descendancy chart

I would very much like to have a alternative for the existing descendancy chart, as (to me at least) it is not clear enough to keep the generations apart.
I have attached a picture of how I envisage this new tree. I have put all persons of the same generation, in one row. Somewhat like a spreadsheet.
In my opinion, but who am I, this way of presenting the data is a lot clearer than the existing chart.
I have written down the programming rules for constructing such a tree (it IS possible), but lack the knowledge to put this into PHP.
Also, I would like the option for this tree to either show only the male line (the one where everybody has the same familyname, or to show All descendants of the root person.
In some instances the tree will be quite big!
I hope you will consider this proposal and maybe even turn it into the real McCoy.

IMHO, this would more resemble the Pedigree Tree but in reverse, as descendants, and therefore could be properly titled Descendancy Tree, as an additional chart structure, similar to Ancestry Chart and Pedigree Tree serve the purpose on the "up" side. Similar selections for depth of descendants could be served from the options as to Pedigree.
