No

Where the child has married and/or had children, it would be helpful to have a symbol showing that there is a 'downline.' An icon of spouse & child, or even simply a "down arrow," showing that there are descendants through this child. In a perfect world, I would like to see the female child's married name as well, i.e. Mary Jane "Mimi" Jones (Smith).

Where in particular do you want to see the 'downline'? There are already similar effects in a number of places , some charts, the family navigator panes etc. although not necessarily using the same solution.

Similar question for the married name - where do you want to display it? Have you thought about how to handle (up to) three of four different married names for the same person?

Actually, I was primarily referring to the family page or list, where the parents & siblings are shown. The 'downline' icon could appear under or next to the relationship (brother, sister, etc.)

I support the idea, particularly the display of the MARNM. I've felt that's a missing element for some time but have never gotten around to submitting an RFE. Good work.

On lists, the married name(s) appear after the birth name. I'm interested in the appearance on the parents' individual pages.
If married once, then no problem. If married more than once, then the LAST married name is the one she's usually identified by. Alternatively, the married names in order of marriages, as Mary Jane "Mimi" Smith (Jones) (Johnson), or (Smith-Johnson.) Either works for me.
I'm primarily interested in being able to quickly recognize "downlines," or children who in turn have offspring, by some sort of symbol or flag (including for male children, if feasible.) Additionally, it would quickly show individuals who have spouses on their individual page.
Some of the charts already have a symbol showing children or a "downline." A similar symbol by the relationship (brother, sister, etc.) would work. So, my so-called "downline" (actually a misnomer) would actually indicate that they have a record of being married, and have their own family page. Showing either offspring or marriage would be good, or in a perfect world, both.
On reflection, it's more complicated then I realized. Showing the MARNM would be great; showing that the individual has had children (family symbol) would be a bonus.
My 2 cents worth. Might be worthwhile starting a topic in 'Open Discussion.'
