URL's are currently stored in the root media folder and I would like a means of sorting them into sub-folders in much the same way as server based media is arranged.

An excellent idea.

I guess ideally I would like to treat URLs no different to any other media, and include them in my existing sub-folders. But I don't know if thats practical.
