#1053 Option to limit search for direct ancestors only

The number of people in my gedcom is becoming bigger and bigger and not all of them are my direct ancestors. Sometimes I feel the need to only search my direct ancestors so I can easily find individuals in my tree that need more attention (like, expanding their ancestors) than others.

Another idea is to have a list of direct ancestors that do not have any parents. This would make it easier to find the "end" branches of your tree.

Select ancestry chart, then individual-list view.

This will show your direct ancestors.

Clicking the "roots" button with then restrict the list to the "end" branches

Thanks. Isn't this limited to 10 generations only?

Either way the idea of search direct ancestors is still helpful.
