but i didn't expect that somebody outside germany has some knowledge of that. You'll even find in germany only some people who are aware of the evolution of our language. It's only a little thing - but it's a thing.
Especially in Westphalia there are lot's of towns and regions with ue, ae, oe which are not translated Umlaute like , or but a kind of stretch vowal: Flaesheim = Flaasheim, Soest = Soost and many more. So i think it is not clear to foreign people that a region in uppercases like "SOESTER BOERDE" is in fact the "Soester Brde" or that "STRASSE" is "Strae" as there is no in upper cases! Some guys here change the
to SZ (like 'STRASZE'), but that is no official way.

The same error in spelling occurred in the text file, where I had corrected it quite some time ago.
Did you know that Kassel was, in the mid 1800's, spelled "Cassel"? There's a statue on top of the Herkules where this spelling occurs.
