Do you think it's safe or wise to remove the Spanish (Latin America) language files? They haven't been updated in a very long time.
What a coincidence you ask this... I have started contacting people in Spanish-language genealogy circles about this, warning that unless a need is felt for an American Spanish version, a need backed by people willing to devote a considerable amount of work to updating it first and some effort to keep it alive, it may well be on its way out...
So I don't think I can give a definitive answer, but it is obvious that choosing es-AR in the latest versions is becoming too close to English and, where Spanish is rendered, many times the text doesn't match very well the English text, neither in style nor, what is worse, meaning.
