There's some light at the end of the tunnel.... I guess the second field is meant for countries where a different language is spoken. If you have a look at spanish you'll see what I mean.
But no doubt it's an improvement and I'm sure one of the developers is going to tell us what PGV does with it. :-)

I wasn't aware of that, but still - in my opinion - the second field should have a different text, which maybe mentioning something about dual languages.
Best regards,
Arne

The second field is for multiple language codes. English for example has the main code of "en". But it also has "en-us" and "en-uk" for United States based English and United Kingdom based English.
It is important to have all of the codes for a paricular language because you can set up your browser with your prefered language settings. So I can say that my first preference is Spanish "es-ar" but the sight doesn't have Argentina based Spanish then I want international Spanish "es" and if they don't have that then I want English "en".
I'm not sure what Kurt's plans are for this or why he has two fields. I don't think he was completely finished when I merged the code, but I imagine that he will be getting rid of the first one.

As I didn't know that a new release would come out this week I hadn't added a new message var for the second field :-(
The first field is the shortcut for the language filename extensions of PGV.
The second field includes all language-settings to allow PGV to detect the users setup language inside the browser. This var will let us remove the usage of "langcodes.php" in the next release.
I will add this tomorrow and upp the changed english language file to cvs...

I must admit that I'm confused by the double Shortcut for language files entries:
