There are a number of new statistics in the expanded GEDCOM Statistics block in the future CVS version.
Does it make sense to change "Person who lived the longest" to "Longest lifespan" and "Family with the most children" to "Largest family"? The reason for these proposed changes is to shorten the text to prevent wrapping in smaller screens. Any suggestions for "Average age at death"?

How are you calculating "average age at death"? From everyone in the whole gedcom, from a direct line of ancestors from a given individual? Are you including people whose death dates are unknown but are assumed dead as they were born more than (say) 105 years ago? Are you generating one average for females and one for males?

Statistics for this block are calculated from everyone in the GEDCOM. It only includes dates that are known in the GEDCOM, not calculated dates. It does not distinguish between male and female.

Yes, I think the changes make sense and are more intuitive than the current verbage. I've seen these expanded statistics on some of the phpgedview implementations, but I'm not sure of how to implement them. I know this is off the subject, but how does one go about using the extended statistics?

"Longest life" is even shorter.

A "More statistics" link to the stats page would be nice, as this page gives extended statistical information but is (I think) rarely used.

How about "Average lifespan"?

"Average lifetime" for "Average age at death" I think is better
