    Hi Kurt,

I just saw your patch 879637. Got some questions:
    1. In the meanwhile, I added some translations to the 2.65.1 files. What to do with those?
    2. How can we edit the files, as you warn us NOT to put them in the 2.65.1 directory?
    3. How does this fit in a timeschedule? When must the translations be back for release?
    4. How and to whom do we send them back?

    Bye
    Boudewijn

      Hi Boudewijn

Yeah! I was also puzzled, so I decided to ignore it for the time being.

      Best regards,

      Arne

      Hi Boudewijn,

I'm sorry, if you made translations which are not included inside the language files I sent in the patches area.

I did this to give all translators the ability to work with the newset language files from cvs. As you know the updates which are made by the developers on the cvs are not just by time available for the useres who have access to the cvs from web-frontend of sourceforge.

      To 1:
I'd like to ask you to edit your specific language file from cvs web-frontend of source forge where the latest file is available now or the zip from the patches section with an editor and add all your changes you made till now to this new file.

      To 2:
I think you missunderstood me. This warning was meant as I explain it now:
Please just use your own language file and work on this file with your translations. There could be a problem with the brasilian portugues file because the filename was changed so you could get some error messages inside the language editor if you just copy all the files from the zip into your dir where your stable version of PGV is saved. You can work with this files in your test enviroment. But please tell if you find error messages!

      Thanks and regards,

      bye, Kurt

        Kurt,

I think the initiative is OK, thanks!
My suggestion is, that we first get things clear about translators and translations. John did some suggestions about that and in the meanwhile I sent my comments back.
In the meanwhile, we'll go on with the NL-translations. We'll see that you get the right files back.
        Thanks
        Boudewijn.
